In this age of sneaky (and profitable) auto-renews, it was refreshing to see this heads up email from Medium, letting me know that my subscription is about to auto-renew and that I could cancel it if I wanted to, giving me a two-week notice.

Companies like Medium restore my faith in the people running companies.
