You left out Hinduism –Pathanjali yoga calls “slow breathing”, praanayama. Praanayama is the practice of shutting one nostril, breathing in for about 6 counts and then closing the other nostril and breathing out for 6 counts. Every Indian musician practices this technique to improve breath control.
